ETQ Amsterdam è uno studio di design olandese che affina un unico guardaroba dal 2010. Non seguiamo le stagioni né inseguiamo le tendenze. Costruiamo essentials, T-shirt, pantaloni, chino, polo, maglioni, hoodie, camicie, giacche, jeans, shorts, calzini e boxer, e trattiamo ognuno come un prodotto, non come un capo. Quando chiediamo ai clienti perché hanno acquistato, le risposte si ripetono: il design pulito e la qualità. Cosa è ETQ menswear, e cosa non è
Se hai mai indossato un paio di ETQ sneaker o loafer, conosci già il ritmo: materiali scelti con cura, costruzione paziente, nessun logo invadente. Il nostro abbigliamento segue lo stesso codice. Linee pulite, proporzioni studiate e tessuti scelti per come si sentono al terzo lavaggio, non al primo. Non lanciamo nuovi silhouette ogni sei settimane; affiniamo quelli che già funzionano, ed è per questo che la TS 01 Essence T-shirt e il pantalone Essence esistono ora nella loro versione successiva. Vestibilità migliore, ripresa migliore, stesso silhouette.
È una disciplina. La maggior parte degli uomini non ha bisogno di un guardaroba da 400 capi. Ne bastano quindici che funzionino insieme, mantengano la forma e durino più a lungo degli altri. Questo è il guardaroba che ETQ costruisce.
I materiali, in parole semplici
La scelta del tessuto è il punto in cui la maggior parte dei brand taglia i costi. Noi no. Una mappa breve e onesta di cosa indossi quando indossi ETQ:
- T-shirt Heavyweight: il nostro Heavyweight Stretch Cotton da 300 gsm, 95% cotone con 5% elastane, costruito per mantenere la forma lavaggio dopo lavaggio. La struttura resta; la caduta non cede. Il punto che i nostri recensori citano di più.
- T-shirt Lightweight e longsleeve: un cotone più fine con una mano pulita, pensato per i mesi più caldi e per il layering sotto una camicia o una overshirt.
- Cotton Silk Knit: usato nelle nostre polo Tailored e crew tee. Cotone con mano seta, morbido, raffinato e asciutto. Valorizza un pantalone senza sforzo.
- Lana merino: finezza ridotta, traspirante e termoregolatrice, ed è per questo che un singolo knit ETQ copre le serate primaverili e le giornate in studio d'inverno.
- Traveller Weave: il nostro Essence pantalone, i completi e le overshirt. Una tessitura tecnica con la caduta della lana e la ripresa dello stretch. Viaggia bene e si sgualcisce raramente.
- Denim giapponese: il JD 01 è tessuto in Giappone, a Tokyo, poi costruito in Cina. Si ammorbidisce, prende forma e si sfuma con l'uso, rifinito con un patch in pelle ETQ come firma discreta.
- Prodotto in Portogallo, Turchia e Cina: tagliato, cucito e rifinito in piccoli atelier a conduzione familiare con cui lavoriamo da anni. Scegliamo il paese e la fabbrica pezzo per pezzo, in base alla specializzazione che rende quel particolare capo il migliore possibile. Preferiamo produttori con una storia: il nostro atelier calzaturiero ha radici che risalgono al 1935, e tra i nostri partner c'è un maglificio a conduzione familiare a Manisa, in Turchia, attivo dal 1898, quattro generazioni, con lavorazione a maglia, tintura e rifinitura sotto lo stesso tetto. Design e modellistica avvengono nel nostro studio olandese.
Come costruire il guardaroba
Tutto qui è fatto per abbinarsi, e la maggior parte è fatto per abbinarsi alle nostre scarpe.
- Le fondamenta: la TS 01 Essence heavyweight tee con un chino Essence o un pantalone, rifinito con sneaker bianche sneaker o un loafer in suede.
- Per lo studio: un pantalone Essence pantalone con una polo Tailored o un fine knit, su loafer o sneaker in pelle pulita.
- Per il weekend: una t-shirt con denim e sneaker, con un maglione o una hoodie quando la temperatura scende.

Perché gli uomini comprano un secondo pezzo, e poi un terzo
Quando chiediamo ai nuovi acquirenti cosa li ha convinti, la risposta è quasi sempre la stessa: qualità, design e misura. Quando chiediamo a chi torna, e una parte consistente degli ordini mensili viene da loro, la risposta cambia. Citano il primo paio di scarpe, i pantaloni sopravvissuti a un anno di giorni in studio, la t-shirt che non si è infeltrита. Citano la fiducia, conquistata lentamente. Il codice ETQ, applicato
Quello che non vedi fa parte del design. Nessun logo vistoso, nessun rumore stagionale, nessuna diciassette versioni della stessa camicia. Siamo disciplinati su cosa aggiungiamo e cosa lasciamo fuori. Ogni pezzo guadagna il suo posto superando lo stesso test: lo indosseremmo noi stessi, lo terremmo per anni, saremmo orgogliosi di rendere la versione successiva ancora migliore. Come funziona la taglia ETQ?
La maggior parte del menswear ETQ è fedele alla taglia per gli standard europei maschili, e la maggioranza degli acquirenti nelle nostre recensioni verificate lo conferma. Le tee heavyweight sono fedeli alla taglia; il taglio oversize è intenzionalmente più ampio. Ogni pagina prodotto include una guida alle taglie e il feedback di acquirenti verificati sulla vestibilità. Anche le scarpe sono fedeli alla taglia, anche se i slip-on tendono a essere leggermente stretti, quindi tra due taglie scegli la più grande.
Come mi prendo cura dei capi ETQ?
La versione breve per mantenere un capo al meglio: lavaggio in lavatrice a freddo, a 30°C, rovesciato e con colori simili, poi ridare la forma e asciugare in piano invece di usare l'asciugatrice ad alta temperatura. Il merino va sul ciclo delicato per lana; i cotoni heavyweight mantengono la struttura asciugandosi in piano. Evita il ferro caldo. Le istruzioni di lavaggio precise sono su ogni pagina prodotto, e lavare meno spesso preserva colore e forma più a lungo.

Rispetto a brand comparabili, pratichiamo prezzi più accessibili perché vendiamo diretto, senza margini retail in mezzo.
Come funzionano spedizioni, resi e cambi?
Spediamo in tutta Europa, nel Regno Unito, negli Stati Uniti e oltre, con spedizione gratuita per ordini superiori a 150 euro e tempi di consegna apprezzati dai nostri clienti. Resi e cambi si gestiscono tramite un portale self-service entro 14 giorni dal ricevimento. Se la taglia non è quella giusta, un cambio con un'altra misura o colore è la soluzione più rapida.

How to measure
Let’s find your perfect fit. Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall and put your feet (with socks) on it, heels against the wall. Make sure you lean on your feet with full power when measuring. Now you simply draw a line at the end of the biggest foot. Measure the distance with a ruler and find the size that matches it: see size table. Are you in between sizes? In that case, we suggest taking the bigger size.

Nubuck Leather
Premium nubuck: the best of the best. Exclusive leather that we sanded rough on the outside grain part of the hide, giving it a velvety butter-soft surface. It offers utmost suppleness.
Full Grain Leather
Full grain leather is naturally firmer and more durable as it is produced by retaining the top layer of the hide. Its appearance is natural, authentic, and robust. You are still able to see the grains. It looks just like the grains on your skin. We never sanded, buffed, or snuffed it, so this leather is super strong.
French Terry
Tès Chique. French terry is a knit characterized by its unique looped-back construction. One side is smooth, and the other side is textured with loops of thread. It is known for its comfort, breathability, and moisture-proof properties. French terry is available as lightweight or heavyweight.
Punti di Roma
Wrinkle-resistant, soft like a baby, and slightly elastic. This is Italian quality, knitted to perfection. Punti Di Roma has a heavy, rich quality as the stitches interlock on both sides of the fabric. The best part: it’s recovery properties. This fabric stays in shape. And so will you.
Bamboo
