- Handmade in Portugal, in a family-run factory we have worked with for years. Designed in the Netherlands.
- Hand-lasted, then inspected twice before it leaves the factory.
- Between 20 and 40 separate components in every pair, put together by hand.
- A reinforced toe and heel counter inside the shoe, so it still holds its shape after a year of wearing.
- Our own sole, from our own mould, in a rubber blend we specified ourselves: enough give to walk on all day, firm enough to hold its shape.
- Stitched, not glued. The upper is attached to the sole with a seam, so the shoe bends where your foot bends.
- Nubuck from an LWG Gold tannery in Portugal. The nap takes light instead of throwing it back, so it looks better on day two hundred than on day one.
- onSteam® lining moves moisture away from the foot, which is what keeps a leather shoe wearable on a long day.
- A removable memory foam insole that softens to the shape of your foot and holds it there.
- The insole lifts straight out, so you can put in a fresh one or wear your own orthotics. Spare laces are available separately.
- Tonal metal eyelets and nylon laces, so nothing catches the eye before the shape does.

- All UK customers can easily send their returns to our local UK warehouse for a seamless experience.
- Upon arrival of your order, you have 14 days to submit a return or exchange through our return portal.
- Doesn't fit? Exchange your product for the right size via our return portal.
- Item(s) should be clean and unworn, all tags and packaging material must still be present and in good condition.
- By returning a product, you acknowledge that refunds (either partial or complete) may be refused if the returned item does not meet our specified terms and conditions.
- Items purchased as part of a set or multi-pack can only be returned or exchanged together as a complete set.
- We strongly recommend using our returns portal to return products. If you choose not to use it, we are not liable for any potential loss of the return and processing may take longer.
- Price difference due to ongoing promotions can be compensated with a voucher.

We've always been fascinated by packaging. We designed it with efficiency and with the environment in mind. The modular packaging consists of long-lasting items created with recycled materials, while the shipping box is repurposed to serve as a shoebox as well.

Replacement of the item
I haven't worn these shoes yet because when they were delivered, I realized it would be better to exchange them for a size larger (from 43 to 44), and I'm waiting for them to be delivered again. Other than that, everything's fine.

Let’s find your perfect fit. Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall and put your feet (with socks) on it, heels against the wall. Make sure you lean on your feet with full power when measuring. Now you simply draw a line at the end of the biggest foot. Measure the distance with a ruler and find the size that matches it: see size table. Are you in between sizes? In that case, we suggest taking the bigger size.
