The pieces you keep reaching for.
Pleased to meet you.
In 2010 we made our first sneaker. We're still working on it. That's ETQ in one line: a studio in the Netherlands that can't leave things alone. Shoes and clothing for men, made to look right, feel good and get better with every version.
Where it started.
Never finished.
We work on what we make the way a race team works on its car: the shape stays, every detail gets sharper. And we listen. Customers told us the collar at the heel of the LT 03 could be softer and the stitching finer. Now it is. Some of our trousers are on their third version.
The latest versions.
The tools change. The standard doesn't.
A pencil, a last, AI. We use whatever brings the next version closer. In what we make, and in how we show it. Some of what you see here was made with AI. We don't hide that.
Photographed.Every item goes to the people who know it better than anyone.
Our shoes come from family-owned ateliers in northern Portugal, one with roots going back to 1935. A pair passes through at least 25 people. Most of our trousers and tees come from a family business in Turkey, in textiles since 1898. Our denim is woven in Tokyo. And we tell you what it is, why we chose it and what it asks of you.
Signed with a square.
In 1915, Kazimir Malevich painted his Black Square and called it the symbol of a new age. When he was later forced back to traditional painting, he kept signing his work with a small square. Saying everything, without saying a word. Our square at the heel carries that spirit: no logo, just a quiet signature for those who look closer. We sell online only, directly to the people who wear it. More than 250,000 customers across Europe and beyond, who rate us 4.6 out of 5.

That's how a next version happens.
