Measurements are taken flat, from seam to seam. The waistband provides approximately 5 cm of stretch.

The OS 02 Essence 2.0 overshirt and TP 02 Essence 2.0 trousers are cut from the same Performance Stretch Weave. For the overshirt, take your usual size. For the trousers, between sizes, take the bigger one.

How to measure each point

1Waist Measure across the top of the waistband from one side to the other. For the stretched waist, gently extend the waistband without forcing it.

1Pit to pit Measure straight across the overshirt from one armpit seam to the other.

2Hip Measure straight across the trousers at the widest point of the hip.

2Shoulder Measure straight across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.

3Inseam Measure from the crotch along the inside seam down to the bottom of the leg.

3Sleeve length Starting at the shoulder seam, measure down to the end of the sleeve.

4Leg opening Measure flat from seam to seam across the bottom of the leg.

4Total length Measure down the centre back, from the base of the collar to the bottom hem.

Thigh Measure straight across the leg, just below the crotch.

Knee Measure straight across the leg, 38 cm below the crotch.

Front and back rise Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband, at the front and at the back.

    Material info

    Performance Stretch Weave is a blend of polyester, viscose and elastane, made to look sharp and wear easily. Polyester does most of the work: it keeps the line clean, resists wrinkles and holds its shape, wear after wear. Viscose gives it a soft, smooth hand. Elastane adds real stretch, so it moves with you. It breathes, so it stays comfortable from morning to night.

    Good to know

    • We ship on working days. On New Year’s Day, King’s Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we take a day off.
    • Delivery times are a guide. Very occasionally it takes a day longer, for example while your payment is still being processed.
    • We don’t deliver to PO boxes.

    Insured in transit

    Your order is insured until it reaches you. Sometimes we ask for a signature on delivery; from then on, the parcel is your responsibility. If someone else signs for you, their signature counts as proof of delivery.

    Outside the EU (except the UK), you don’t pay Dutch VAT: the 21% comes off your order automatically at checkout, as soon as you enter your address or switch country or currency. 5% import duty and 5% VAT generally apply, plus a FedEx handling fee, on or after delivery.

    • Send your items back clean and unworn, with their tags and packaging. That way we can process them quickly.
    • Underwear can only be returned with the seal intact.
    • Returning more than one item? We charge a €2 handling fee for each extra item.
    • You can also send your return with your own carrier. Even so, we recommend our return portal: if your parcel goes missing on the way, we’re responsible, and we process your return faster. We can’t reimburse the cost of your own carrier.
    • Price difference because of a promotion? We make up for it with a voucher.
    • If an item doesn’t meet these conditions, we may refund it in part or not at all.

    How does the Essence Set 02 fit?

    The overshirt has a regular fit, so take your usual size. The TP 02 trousers are tapered: clean through the leg and narrower at the ankle. Between sizes on the trousers, take the bigger one.

    What is in the Essence Set 02?

    The OS 02 Essence 2.0 overshirt and the TP 02 Essence 2.0 trousers, made from the same Performance Stretch Weave for a perfect ton-sur-ton match. Wear it together or apart.

    What is the fabric like?

    Performance Stretch Weave at 225 g/m²: 74% polyester, 21% viscose, 5% elastane. A soft, smooth hand feel, excellent stretch so it moves with you all day, and enhanced wrinkle resistance, so it still looks sharp at the end of the day.

    How do returns work if it doesn't fit?

    Open our return portal and choose your new size: it ships as soon as your return is on its way, and you don't need to place a new order. Prefer a different colour or model? Choose store credit and order again, or choose a refund. Costs per country are on our returns page.

    Is there a warranty on my ETQ product?

    Yes, manufacturing defects are covered by the statutory warranty. Something not right? Send us a photo and your order number and we’ll find a solution together. Normal wear and damage from use are not covered.

    Do you have a store?

    We don't have our own store: ETQ is online only. You order here and try everything on at home. If it isn't right, you can exchange or return it through our return portal.
