Measurements are taken flat, from seam to seam. The elastic, drawcord waistband provides approximately 8 cm of stretch.

All measurements in centimetres. This set is available in sizes S–XL.

TP 01 and OS 01 are cut from the same mid-weight twill and sized to match — pick the same letter size in both pieces for a tonal fit.

How to measure each point

1Waist Measure across the top of the waistband from one side to the other. For the stretched waist, gently extend the elastic waistband without forcing it.

1Pit to pit / Chest Measure from one armpit seam to the other, straight across the front.

2Hip Measure across the trousers at the hip point.

2Shoulder Measure straight across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.

3Leg opening Measure flat from seam to seam across the bottom of the leg.

3Sleeve length Starting at the shoulder seam, measure down to the end of the sleeve.

4Total length Measure from the highest shoulder point straight down to the hem.

Thigh Measure flat at the cross seam.

Inseam Measure from the crotch along the inside seam down to the bottom of the leg.

Front rise Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband at the front.

Back rise Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband at the back.

    Material info

    A woven poly-viscose blend with natural stretch. Soft to the touch. Substantial in weight. Polyester adds structure and durability. Viscose brings a soft, cotton-like drape. Elastane provides natural give for everyday movement. Woven with a mid-weight twill structure, 285g/m². Clean. Considered. Built to move.

    Good to know

    • We ship on working days. On New Year’s Day, King’s Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we take a day off.
    • Delivery times are a guide. Very occasionally it takes a day longer, for example while your payment is still being processed.
    • We don’t deliver to PO boxes.

    Insured in transit

    Your order is insured until it reaches you. Sometimes we ask for a signature on delivery; from then on, the parcel is your responsibility. If someone else signs for you, their signature counts as proof of delivery.

    Ordering from outside the EU?

    Outside the EU (except the UK), you don’t pay Dutch VAT: the 21% comes off your order automatically at checkout, as soon as you enter your address or switch country or currency. 5% import duty and 5% VAT generally apply, plus a FedEx handling fee, on or after delivery.

    Good to know

    • Send your items back clean and unworn, with their tags and packaging. That way we can process them quickly.
    • Underwear can only be returned with the seal intact.
    • Returning more than one item? We charge a €2 handling fee for each extra item.
    • You can also send your return with your own carrier. Even so, we recommend our return portal: if your parcel goes missing on the way, we’re responsible, and we process your return faster. We can’t reimburse the cost of your own carrier.
    • Price difference because of a promotion? We make up for it with a voucher.
    • If an item doesn’t meet these conditions, we may refund it in part or not at all.

    How does the Essence Set 01 fit?

    The overshirt is relaxed through the body, and the trousers have a relaxed waist and a straight leg that runs long. Between sizes, take the smaller one in both.

    What is in the Essence Set 01?

    The OS 01 overshirt and the TP 01 trousers, made from the same mid-weight twill for a perfect ton-sur-ton match.

    What is the fabric like?

    Mid-weight woven twill at 285 g/m²: 62% polyester, 34% viscose, 4% elastane. Dyed after weaving for a deep, even colour that holds through every wash.

    How do I wash it?

    Machine wash inside out at max. 30°C on a gentle cycle.

    How do returns work if it doesn't fit?

    Open our return portal and choose your new size: it ships as soon as your return is on its way, and you don't need to place a new order. Prefer a different colour or model? Choose store credit and order again, or choose a refund. Costs per country are on our returns page.

    Is there a warranty on my ETQ product?

    Yes, manufacturing defects are covered by the statutory warranty. Something not right? Send us a photo and your order number and we’ll find a solution together. Normal wear and damage from use are not covered.

    We don't have our own store: ETQ is online only. You order here and try everything on at home. If it isn't right, you can exchange or return it through our return portal.
