Description
Two soles instead of one. A second layer sits beneath our Court sole, and that is where the Rugged sole gets its character: sturdier in the shape, made for weather that does not cooperate. The upper stays clean, in full-grain leather or nubuck with tonal suede at the toe and heel. An onSteam® lining moves moisture away on a long day.

Size & fit
Material info
Full grain is the top layer of the hide, left intact. Nothing is sanded or buffed away, so the natural grain and the strongest fibres of the leather stay exactly where they are. That makes it the most durable leather finish there is. Our full grain is tanned by Curtumes Iberia in Alcanena, Portugal, an LWG Gold certified tannery, and every hide is inspected on finish, colour, surface and thickness before cutting. Small variations in grain and colour are natural, and proof the surface is untouched. It starts firm, softens with wear, and builds a patina that deepens over the years.
Care
- Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth
- Condition with leather cream now and then
- If wet, let dry naturally, away from heat

It's a nice shoe, but personally, I think the ETQ LT 02 Platform Nubuck is a better choice. It's a bit more flexible and, in my opinion, much more comfortable to walk in.

Initial visual was different to what I expected from advertisement. Birds eye view was not in any visuals. Angled visual looks best. Initial wear seemed uncomfortable, but tightened laces for better fit. Days wear helped. Back heel is still sometimes hard and uncomfortable but only worn them 3 times and usually for 10 hours each wear. Thicker cushioning may help. Front velvet strip should be smaller for a less casual look. Back story around ETQ design and values swayed decision to buy. Hope my feedback is appreciated.

No doubt an amazing shoe!
I seem to be on a sneaker phase, purchasing multiple/select brands for style/design, comfort/fit, materials/manufacturing, history, and overall wear. One of a few that stood out was ETQ and their LT02 rugged certainly stood out in terms of beauty and design! So yes, seeing it in person did not disappoint! The eclectic black suede, full-grain, and rubber, coupled with the shape and style matched and complimented the whole design of the shoe! Beautiful! Super comfortable too, lots of room, and the way the shoelaces were designed allowed for more bespoke fitting. Sadly it did lose a star simply because the shoe made constant "squeaky" sounds when worn. Whether I walk slowly, jog, or simply flex my feet when sat in the office, you get this squeaky sound, like it may need oiling. Part of the joy of sneakers is that they are silent when you walk, and which I get with other luxury sneaker brands. A shame, and it certainly limits where I wear these shoes.

Totally unhelpful customer service.
Shoes are ok but given the price i would expect a softer and comfy lining and in general a softer leather. Sole is stiff especially at the beginning but it is getting more flexible. Customer service is totally unhelpful.
