Description
The sneaker you reach for when you don't want to think about it. Structured panels give it shape, the City sole gives it presence, and it sits as well under tailored trousers as it does with denim. Mediterranean suede, soft from the first wear. A removable memory foam insole softens to your foot, and the heel settles after a few wears.

- Strobel construction. The upper is stitched to a flexible base before the sole goes on.
- Every finished pair is inspected before it goes in the box.

- A full leather lining that softens with wear and settles to the shape of the foot.
- Our own sole, from our own mould. Enough give to walk all day, firm enough to hold shape.
- Reinforced toe and heel counter. Holds its shape wear after wear.

- The ETQ signature square at the heel.
- A reusable travel bag comes in the box, for wherever the shoes go next.

Size & fit
Material info
Suede is cut from the underside of the hide and sanded to a fine, velvety nap. Ours is true to its name: tanned on the Mediterranean by Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, an LWG Gold certified tannery, and Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain, LWG approved. Every hide is inspected on finish, colour, surface and thickness before cutting. Quality shows in the nap: short, dense and even, with deep, uniform colour that gains character over time.

- Brush regularly in the direction of the nap
- Protect against water and stains before first wear
- If wet, let dry naturally, away from heat

Points to note: * Less packaging material: two boxes for a single pair of shoes is a bit “over-the-top” ** Unsightly sticker on the inner lining is unpleasant > leaves sticky glue residue after removal

They fit well, but you do need to take good care of them and clean them regularly because they're suede. As you wear them more often, the suede does discolor, so they'll look a bit lighter.

Comfort of the shoe not good for me although it felt good at first
Unfortunately, the shoe rubs above the heel and causes painful blisters.
Handmade in Portugal.
Cut from premium nappa, full grain and suede, then built on the last by makers who do little else. It takes years to master a shoe. We’re still finding ways to make it better.
