A runner shape, drawn down to its outline. The RS 01 keeps the low nose and long line of a running shoe and carries it on a sole light enough to forget after a few steps. A mesh upper that breathes, with nubuck overlays where the shoe takes the most wear, and a mesh lining that lets heat out. Easy underfoot, all day.

ETQ runners have a close, athletic fit, slim through the toe and forefoot. Most people take their usual size. Between sizes, or want more room? Take the bigger one.

Sports socks are thicker than everyday socks, so keep that in mind when you choose.

Good to know

  • We ship on working days. On New Year’s Day, King’s Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we take a day off.
  • Delivery times are a guide. Very occasionally it takes a day longer, for example while your payment is still being processed.
  • We don’t deliver to PO boxes.

Insured in transit

Your order is insured until it reaches you. Sometimes we ask for a signature on delivery; from then on, the parcel is your responsibility. If someone else signs for you, their signature counts as proof of delivery.

Ordering from outside the EU?

Outside the EU (except the UK), you don’t pay Dutch VAT: the 21% comes off your order automatically at checkout, as soon as you enter your address or switch country or currency. 5% import duty and 5% VAT generally apply, plus a FedEx handling fee, on or after delivery.

Good to know

  • Send your items back clean and unworn, with their tags and packaging. That way we can process them quickly.
  • Underwear can only be returned with the seal intact.
  • Returning more than one item? We charge a €2 handling fee for each extra item.
  • You can also send your return with your own carrier. Even so, we recommend our return portal: if your parcel goes missing on the way, we’re responsible, and we process your return faster. We can’t reimburse the cost of your own carrier.
  • Price difference because of a promotion? We make up for it with a voucher.
  • If an item doesn’t meet these conditions, we may refund it in part or not at all.

Questions about the RS 01 Lightweight

How does the RS 01 fit?

A close, athletic fit, slim through the toe and forefoot. Most people take their usual size. Between sizes, or want more room? Take the bigger one. Sports socks are thicker than everyday socks, so keep that in mind when you choose.

Do you have half sizes?

No, we only make whole sizes. Between two sizes? Take the bigger one: you can fill a little space, but you can't add length. A slightly thicker insole or thicker socks take up the extra room, and the insole lifts out, so swapping it takes seconds.

How do I look after nubuck?

Protect it with a nubuck spray before your first wear, and again every few weeks. Brush it dry with a nubuck brush to lift dust and bring the colour back; a nubuck eraser takes care of most marks. Skip wax, cream and wet cloths. Caught in the rain? Stuff the shoes with paper, dry them slowly at room temperature, away from the heater, then brush. Nubuck is a natural material, so small colour differences between batches are normal.

What is the RS 01 made of?

A mesh upper that breathes, with nubuck overlays where the shoe takes the most wear, and a mesh lining that lets heat out. It sits on a light runner sole, built for walking a city all day.

Can I take the insole out?

Yes. The insole lifts out, so you can fit a fresh one or your own orthotics.

How do returns work if it doesn't fit?

Open our return portal and choose your new size: it ships as soon as your return is on its way, and you don't need to place a new order. Prefer a different colour or model? Choose store credit and order again, or choose a refund. Costs per country are on our returns page.

Is there a warranty on my ETQ product?

Yes, manufacturing defects are covered by the statutory warranty. Something not right? Send us a photo and your order number and we’ll find a solution together. Normal wear and damage from use are not covered.

Do you have a store?

We don't have our own store: ETQ is online only. You order here and try everything on at home. If it isn't right, you can exchange or return it through our return portal.
