Traveller Weave

Traveller Weave is a cloth we developed at ETQ for everyday wear: built from three fibres, each with one job. Viscose is the part you feel first, a soft, dry hand and a quiet matt finish. A little elastane gives it stretch and lets it spring back, so it holds its shape through a long day. A polyester frame does the structural work, keeping the line clean and drying quickly. The blend, 67% polyester, 29% viscose and 4% elastane, resists creasing and moves with you. Designed in our Dutch studio and made in family-owned ateliers in Portugal, Turkey or China, each chosen per piece for the make it does best.

What we make from it

  • TP 02 Essence trouser: a clean tailored trouser with a comfortable, flexible hand.
  • JC 01 Essence overshirt: a light, structured overshirt that layers over a tee or knit.
  • Essence Suit: the JC 01 and TP 02 worn together as a set, in matching tones, for an easy modern suit.

Why it works

Traditional suiting can feel stiff and high-maintenance. Traveller Weave keeps the sharp line of tailoring while staying breathable and easy to live with: it resists wrinkling, so it goes from a bag to a meeting, and the slight stretch makes it comfortable for a full day. Press a crease in and it stays; leave it and it falls out on its own. Wear the pieces together as a suit or split them into your rotation.

Care

Machine wash at 30 degrees with like colours and hang to dry; the weave keeps its shape with little or no pressing. Exact care is on each product page.

Frequently asked about Traveller Weave

What is Traveller Weave made of?

A blend of 67% polyester, 29% viscose and 4% elastane, developed by ETQ: a polyester frame for structure, viscose for a soft hand, and elastane for stretch and shape recovery.

Can I wear the jacket and trouser separately?

Yes. The Essence Suit is the JC 01 overshirt and TP 02 trouser as a set, but both work on their own in a wider rotation.

Does it crease?

It is designed to resist creasing and to travel well, keeping its shape with little or no pressing, which is where the name comes from.

Where is it made?

Designed in our Dutch studio and made in family-owned ateliers in Portugal, Turkey or China, each chosen per piece for the make it does best.

How do returns and exchanges work?
