The LT 02 upper on our tallest sole. The panel work and the suede detailing at heel and toe stay exactly as they are, while the platform underneath lifts the whole shape and lengthens the line through the leg. More height, same shoe. Made for wide trousers and long days.

- An EVA outsole, which is what keeps a sole this thick from feeling heavy.
- Tonal suede at the toe and heel.
- Handmade in Portugal, in a family-run factory we have worked with for years. Designed in the Netherlands.
- Nubuck from an LWG Gold tannery in Portugal. Its soft surface takes in light instead of reflecting it, so it looks better on day two hundred than on day one.
- Stitched, not glued. The upper is attached to the sole with a seam, so the shoe bends where your foot bends.
- Hand-lasted, then inspected twice before it leaves the factory.
- Between 20 and 40 separate components in every pair, put together by hand.
- A mesh lining that lets heat out, which is what makes a light shoe wearable through summer.
- A reinforced toe and heel counter inside the shoe, so it still holds its shape wear after wear.
- Tonal metal eyelets and nylon laces, so nothing catches the eye before the shape does. Spare laces are available separately.
- The ETQ signature square at the heel.
- A reusable travel bag comes in the box, for wherever the shoes go next.
- The white box is the shipping box, so there is no second carton to throw away.

Good to know
- We ship on working days. On New Year’s Day, King’s Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, we take a day off.
- Delivery times are a guide. Very occasionally it takes a day longer, for example while your payment is still being processed.
- We don’t deliver to PO boxes.
Insured in transit
Your order is insured until it reaches you. Sometimes we ask for a signature on delivery; from then on, the parcel is your responsibility. If someone else signs for you, their signature counts as proof of delivery.
Ordering from outside the EU?
Outside the EU (except the UK), you don’t pay Dutch VAT: the 21% comes off your order automatically at checkout, as soon as you enter your address or switch country or currency. Import duties and local taxes aren’t included; the carrier collects them on delivery (DDU). We can’t calculate or cover them in advance, so check with your local customs office what to expect.

Good to know
- Send your items back clean and unworn, with their tags and packaging. That way we can process them quickly.
- Underwear can only be returned with the seal intact.
- Returning more than one item? We charge a €2 handling fee for each extra item.
- You can also send your return with your own carrier. Even so, we recommend our return portal: if your parcel goes missing on the way, we’re responsible, and we process your return faster. We can’t reimburse the cost of your own carrier.
- Price difference because of a promotion? We make up for it with a voucher.
- If an item doesn’t meet these conditions, we may refund it in part or not at all.

When it comes to materials, our bar is high. No shortcuts. ETQs premium suedes and leathers are smooth like butter and cherry-picked per shoe. Obsessive, yes. But: soon after wearing ETQ you will notice the quality difference.

We've always been fascinated by packaging. We designed it with efficiency and with the environment in mind. The modular packaging consists of long-lasting items created with recycled materials, while the shipping box is repurposed to serve as a shoebox as well.

Complaint not taken up
Despite my previous emails, to date I have received no response from you to my complaint about the damaged shoe. At your request, I sent pictures, but I have not yet received any feedback on them. I am therefore wondering why pictures are requested when there is subsequently no response. I find that frankly disappointing. I would still like to receive a substantive response and an appropriate solution. In the absence of a response, I will consider further action. I trust this will not be necessary and will hear from you soon.

Let’s find your perfect fit. Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall and put your feet (with socks) on it, heels against the wall. Make sure you lean on your feet with full power when measuring. Now you simply draw a line at the end of the biggest foot. Measure the distance with a ruler and find the size that matches it: see size table. Are you in between sizes? In that case, we suggest taking the bigger size.
