To strengthen this even further, we are looking for a Creative Director who not only conceptualizes, but delivers consistently.

The role

As a Freelance Creative Director, you are responsible for the full creative execution of ETQ content.

You translate our brand vision into consistent, repeatable and high-quality output.

You work closely with the ETQ team and collaborate directly with external creators, photographers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute shoot concepts

  • Plan and lead photoshoots (studio & location)

  • Direct photographers, MUA and editors

  • Safeguard visual brand consistency (ETQ DNA)

  • Build and maintain a structured, always-on content planning

  • Deliver assets for:

    • website

    • email

    • social & ads

What you won’t do

  • No product development

  • No marketing strategy

  • No performance advertising

  • No brand positioning

KPIs & success criteria

We believe in clear expectations and working within well-defined frameworks. Success in this role means translating creative ideas into consistent, high-quality output.

  • An average of 2–3 shoots per month

  • Content that is efficiently and thoughtfully reusable across multiple channels

  • A consistent visual direction aligned with the ETQ. DNA

  • Structured planning and timely delivery

  • Creative quality that fits ETQ’s mature, minimal aesthetic

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Creative

  • Experience within fashion or premium lifestyle brands

  • Strong sense of aesthetics, composition and detail

  • Highly organized: you plan, execute and deliver

  • No ego-driven creativity — craftsmanship comes first

Practical

  • Freelance / contract basis

  • Start: as soon as possible

  • Scope: 2–3 shoot days per month + preparation

  • Location: Hybrid / Groningen
