Knitwear

Designed in the Netherlands, knitted to layer, worn across seasons.

Knitwear at ETQ means two knitted fabrics, both clean and tonal, made to layer. The lighter end is Cotton Silk Knit, cotton with a silk hand, used across our Tailored polos and the TS 04 crew. For warmer, structured pieces we move to fine-gauge merino, breathable, temperature-regulating and, unusually for pure merino, machine-washable. Designed in our Dutch studio and made in family-owned ateliers in Portugal, Turkey or China, chosen per piece for the best make.

Across more than 500 verified reviews ETQ holds 4.6 out of 5, and comfort is the word that recurs most after quality. It's the quiet upgrade people repeat-buy across colours, part of a community of more than 250,000 customers.

The range, by how you'll actually wear it

TS 04 Tailored crew. A Cotton Silk knit crew-neck in tonal shades: the quiet upgrade to a tee.

Tailored polos. The PO 04 and PO 05 in the same Cotton Silk Knit, collared and refined.

Merino crew, half-zip, roll neck and cardigan. Fine-gauge wool in the merino collection, for warmth without bulk.

How to wear it

A fine knit is the quiet upgrade to a tee. Wear the Cotton Silk crew with an Essence trouser or chino and a suede loafer for the office, or over a collar for a layered look. As it cools, reach for a merino half-zip under an overshirt.

Fabric and fit

Cotton Silk Knit is soft, breathable and dry with a subtle sheen; merino is fine-gauge, breathable and temperature-regulating, so one knit covers spring evenings and winter office days. Both are knitted, not woven. A clean, regular fit; most customers find it true to size.

Care

Cotton Silk: machine wash cool, inside out, reshape and dry flat. Merino: a gentle wool cycle at 30°C, reshape and dry flat, no tumble dry. Exact care is on each product page.

Frequently asked about ETQ knitwear

What is ETQ knitwear made from?

Two knitted fabrics: Cotton Silk Knit (cotton with a silk hand) for the lighter pieces, and fine-gauge merino wool for the warmer ones.

Is the merino machine-washable?

Yes. Unusually for 100% merino, it's engineered for a gentle wool cycle at 30°C, so there's no hand-washing or dry cleaning. See the full merino collection.

Is merino warm without being bulky?

Yes. Fine-gauge merino is breathable and temperature-regulating, which is why a single knit works across seasons and layers cleanly under a jacket.

How does it fit?

A clean, regular fit. Most customers find it true to size; check the fit note on each product page.

How do I care for it?

Cotton Silk washes cool and dries flat; merino takes a gentle wool cycle at 30°C and a flat dry, never tumble dried. Exact care is on each product page.

Where is it made?

Designed in our Dutch studio and made in family-owned ateliers in Portugal, Turkey or China, chosen per piece. We like our makers with history: among our garment partners is a family-run knitting mill in Manisa, Turkey, working since 1898, four generations on, with knitting, dyeing and finishing under one roof. The merino is knitted in China from wool raised in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

How do shipping, returns and exchanges work?

Free shipping over 150 euro across Europe, the UK, the US and beyond. Returns and exchanges run through a self-service portal within 14 days; an exchange is the quickest fix if the size isn't right.
