The range, by how you'll actually wear it
TS 01 Essence Heavyweight 2.0. Our 300 gsm Italian Fleece, structured and shape-holding, in a regular and an oversized fit. The everyday workhorse.
TS 01 Essence Lightweight. A Soft Stretch Cotton, finer and cooler, for warm months and for layering under a shirt or overshirt, including an oversized pocket cut.
TS 04 Tailored. A Cotton Silk knit crew that dresses a notch up, soft and dry against the skin, for when a plain tee isn't quite enough.
How to wear them
A clean tee is the easiest thing to build around. Wear the heavyweight with chinos or denim and white sneakers for an everyday uniform; layer it under a shirt, overshirt or sweater as it cools. The Cotton Silk TS 04 reads smart enough for an Essence trouser and a loafer. Keep the palette tonal and let the fabric do the work.
The fabrics
- Italian Fleece (heavyweight): a 300 gsm structured cotton, pre-washed to limit shrinkage and built to hold its shape rather than sag. The heavyweight most brands don't make.
- Soft Stretch Cotton (lightweight): a finer cotton with a clean hand and a touch of stretch, made for warm weather and layering.
- Cotton Silk Knit (TS 04): cotton with a silk hand, soft and dry, with a subtle lustre that lifts it above a jersey tee.
Regular or oversized, and how it fits
Regular is a clean, classic cut; oversized is a deliberately roomier, boxier drape. Most customers find the tees true to size, so take your usual size in regular; size up only if you want a relaxed fit in the regular cut. What's the difference between the heavyweight and lightweight tee?
The heavyweight is our 300 gsm Italian Fleece: structured, shape-holding, a year-round tee. The lightweight is a finer Soft Stretch Cotton for warm weather and for layering. If you buy one, buy the heavyweight.
Regular or oversized?
Regular for a clean, classic fit; oversized for a relaxed, boxier drape. Most customers stay true to size in both. Both come across the core tonal colours.
Do ETQ T-shirts shrink or lose shape?
The heavyweight is engineered to hold its shape and is pre-washed to limit shrinkage, which is the point reviewers mention most. Wash cool at 30°C, inside out, and dry flat rather than tumbling hot to keep it at its best.
How do the tees fit?
True to size for most customers. The regular is a clean fit; the oversized is intentionally roomy. If you're between sizes in the regular and prefer a looser drape, size up. Check the fit note on each product page.
How do I care for them?
Machine wash cool at 30°C, inside out, with like colours, then reshape and dry flat or tumble on low; keep the iron warm rather than hot. Washing less keeps the colour and structure for longer.

How to measure
Let’s find your perfect fit. Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall and put your feet (with socks) on it, heels against the wall. Make sure you lean on your feet with full power when measuring. Now you simply draw a line at the end of the biggest foot. Measure the distance with a ruler and find the size that matches it: see size table. Are you in between sizes? In that case, we suggest taking the bigger size.

Nubuck Leather
Premium nubuck: the best of the best. Exclusive leather that we sanded rough on the outside grain part of the hide, giving it a velvety butter-soft surface. It offers utmost suppleness.
Full Grain Leather
Full grain leather is naturally firmer and more durable as it is produced by retaining the top layer of the hide. Its appearance is natural, authentic, and robust. You are still able to see the grains. It looks just like the grains on your skin. We never sanded, buffed, or snuffed it, so this leather is super strong.
French Terry
Tès Chique. French terry is a knit characterized by its unique looped-back construction. One side is smooth, and the other side is textured with loops of thread. It is known for its comfort, breathability, and moisture-proof properties. French terry is available as lightweight or heavyweight.
Punti di Roma
Wrinkle-resistant, soft like a baby, and slightly elastic. This is Italian quality, knitted to perfection. Punti Di Roma has a heavy, rich quality as the stitches interlock on both sides of the fabric. The best part: it’s recovery properties. This fabric stays in shape. And so will you.
Bamboo
